Three years later

I don’t know how it happened. One day I was posting occasional recipes and keeping up with my personal website and then BAM - three years go by and everything on your website + blog is out of date.

Reintroducing myself: Hello, hi, I am vina. I work in restaurants. The year is 2020 and, contrary to what some people believe, we are still in the throes of a pandemic. Tomorrow is Election Day and feels like how it did in 2016: it feels like tomorrow I will go to sleep full of hope and wake up Wednesday morning full of dread.

All in all, I am okay. The past three years, especially since March 2020, has flown by and I’m staying positive and mostly productive.

I’ll write more and promise it won’t be famous last words, as my previous blog post in 2017 when I was also apologizing for not writing in awhile.
